Annual Steinert Marching Unit Band Banquet Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 6-11 pm At the Nottingham Ballroom
All marching unit members are eligible to attend the band banquet as long as they perform in the Memorial Day Parades.
Marching unit members may attend free of charge. Parents/guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend the banquet, but only parents/guardians- no siblings please.
The cost for parents to attend is $40 per person. Senior parents ONLY may use credits to pay for the banquet. All other parents must pay by check made payable to SMUPA.
Congratulations to Mrs. Giunta! The Twins have arrived! Both were born on Monday, April 2nd. Alexander Stephen was born at 8:01 AM and he is 4 lbs 7oz Katelyn Emily was born at 8:30 and she is 3 lbs 12 oz Mrs. Giunta is fine and she is home getting everything ready for the babies. The babies will be spending some extra time in the Neo-Natal unit until they are bigger. We wish everyone our best!

Sunshine Card Donation The SMUPA Sunshine Committee strives to bring a small amount of brightness into the day of a current or former member who has lost a family member, is sick, or hospitalized. Flowers and/or cards—depending on the nature of the situation—are sent on behalf of the Marching Unit. We would like to freshen up our selection of cards and notes. Please check through your supply at home and donate any unused cards that would be appropriate to send to one of our own. Get well, especially when related to an incident like a break, or surgery, are needed. Additionally general thinking of you, get well, sympathy, and blank note cards would also be appreciated. Please bring them to the any General Meeting. For further information please contact the Sunshine Committee Chair, Linda Taylor.
